The song was born one Saturday afternoon watching a bok game round at Andy's place, which later became known as the sunset club. A couple of us were sitting round and someone came up with "give the ball to Bryan" as a suggestion on how we might win the game. And from there, it just kind of developed into a mantra every time we watched him play.

Later on we noticed that Bryan Habana fitted quite nicely with Hava Nagila and so it became a yiddish song by yoks about a bok !!!!

We toyed with quite a few styles, from an out an out dance track to a more jazzy brassy kind of thing but eventually settled on what you hear now. After unsucessfullly trying a story based lyric, Michael came up with this more chant based lyric that makes everyone want to join in !

Once we had the music down, we did a variation using Hier Kom die Bokke as the mantra....
